Meredith, I thought it would bother me, like a camelbak, but it didn't. I was a bit surprised. All I can think is that it is light enough that I just don't notice them. It might also have something to do with the music distracting me. Not really sure.

My only question is whether or not the shoulder straps bugged you while you ran? I tried to run with a Camelbak on for water once, and the shoulder straps and having something on my back was driving me nuts. I always run with an Ipod strapped around my arm, so maybe I'd get used to it, but I wanted your feeling about the shoulder straps?

I think these are a great idea. I have run with music for the last few years and I got so paranoid with my earphones in/on that I finally just hung them around my neck and cranked up the volume so I could still hear the music. This seems like a much better approach.

I think its a great idea, My wife would like them because she is pretty conscientious about what is going on around her. Not only for Cars, but predators. Earphones can make you oblivious to surroundings.
