Mountain Bike with music too (helmet cam)!

So I mentioned my buddy Jeremy was putting together a little video about biking with my speakers.  He was in the foothills of Boise and I think he’s listening to AC/DC (nothing like some 80s rock).  This morning I found this video in my e-mail and so I wanted to post it.

He explained that what he did was attach his video camera to his bike helmet, and so the shot where he’s talking, he is actually holding the helmet out in front of him at arms length.  Then he puts it on and starts biking.

Remember, I’m working out the scheduling for and interview with the inventor, so think about your questions and suggestions.  I’ll send out a survey before the interview, but I’m not sure how much time there will be to get the questions in.  Keep your eye on the blog too, since I probably won’t send out an e-mail everytime I post something new.

Enjoy the short video of my buddy Jeremy biking with music.

Z, I want to see the big wipeout. Can you play something other than AC/DC please ;)

  2. Jeremy Says:

that looked like a lot of fun, I think the speakers would work great for that type of recreation, especially AC/DC music blearing out of them! next time can you do a big wipe out or something?

  3. Jeremy Zerr Says:

Stichy: Lame! Why would I ever need to play anything besides ACDC? Nothing has been made in the last 20 years that could possibly rock any better!!!!

Jeremy: I would have had an awesome wipeout on film but my MacGyver-esque velcro mounted helmet cam came off during the wipeout I had during the ride, just as I got through the fastest downhill part. The stupid battery flew like 10 feet down the trail so the camcorder didn\’t write any of the movie to disk. Maybe next time… wait, I shouldn\’t be hoping for a wipeout I guess.

What camera did you use? I wish someone would make a little quality video system for helmets that I could actually afford. Of course anything MacGyver-esque has gotta be cool! Thanks for the video.
