First run of Spring (2.8 miles)

by Daniel on April 7, 2008

Tonight I just finished a 2.8 mile run through my neighborhood. The sun was just setting and the air was crisp. I’ve been running on my treadmill all winter, which can be a real bore (but better than not running). I was surprised at how fast I was tonight. I’ve mentioned before that my treadmill is a bit off in it’s measurements, but I didn’t know how far off it was.

It sure does feel GREAT to be running outside again!

Daniel,

I loved the article. You are an inspiration to me. I notice that Boise sunsets are breath-taking. I have never been much of a runner. Tonight, I probably ran several miles while playing full-court basketball with my 15 year old son and other talented teens. It was a blast!

Losing 60 lbs has changed my life experience and perspective. I shared my story with the Meridian Dept. of Idaho Labor today. It was also the birth of my Corporate Wellness Program Design business. Thanks for your compassionate and results-driven approach to helping others! Anything I can do to help. I am all in. I will have Dan add a link to your site on our page. Let me know how can we collaborate on the social aspect of your site.

Daniel you are a genuine spirit and I appreciate your demonstration!

Thanks,

Justin
